Built under design specifications of the USGBC’s LEED Gold Certification Standards, MGM National Harbor, a $1.3 billion integrated luxury resort was designed to offer entertainment, shopping, gaming and dining experience with strong ties to the Capital region. Inspired by the historic area and natural scenery, Studio GAIA’s interior design of the guestrooms, conference/public areas, and lobby bar will feature light-colored woods, monochromatic earth tones, and floor-to-ceiling windows and millwork, offering beautiful views of the Potomac river.
As Senior BIM Manager, Bilal was responsible with creating all DD,CD and FFE documentation and also managing the CA phase for guest rooms, corridors, public space and conference areas. The design of the rooms was requiring high level of coordination between the disciplines. Thus Revit software being used for BIM. The level of development (LOD) is intended to be between 400-450.
